Pastor Encouragement
Each week we pray for a pastor of another congregation. We collect letters and cards from our congregation and send them out. Please be a part of this ministry.
Some suggested topics to be praying for:
- Pray for the pastor's marriage; that the pastor would love his wife as Christ loves the church
- Pray that the pastor would lead the local church God has placed him over, into a growing love for the Lord and obedience to His word
- Pray that the pastor would train other faithful men to continue this work
- Pray that the pastor would not become weary in doing the Lord's work
- Pray for the pastor's staff, that they would help and support him
- Pray for the church's growth in holiness
Note: these things are good to pray for our pastor, too!

We believe in being the Church that Jesus intended when he said "My mother, and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it". God simplifies, man complicates. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".
